Vandersteen Audio, a respected American manufacturer of high-end loudspeakers, is renowned for its innovative designs and dedication to audio fidelity. Founded by Richard Vandersteen, a passionate audio enthusiast and engineer, the company has a rich history of pioneering advancements in loudspeaker technology.

Vandersteen's legacy began in 1977 with the introduction of the Model 2 loudspeaker. This innovative design, featuring time-and-phase coherence, quickly gained acclaim for its lifelike and accurate sound reproduction. Throughout the 1980s, Vandersteen expanded its offerings with models like the Model 1 and the flagship Model 4. These designs consistently incorporated time-and-phase coherence alongside advanced materials and meticulous craftsmanship, solidifying their reputation for excellence.

The 1990s saw the introduction of the Model 3, another iconic Vandersteen product that built upon earlier successes with further refinements.
